PATTERN INFORMATION
Work up a colorful bag for a knitting project or anything else that needs a soft wrapping. The bag consists of a garter stitch “base”, onto which lines are subsequently woven to form a checkered pattern. Once the base has been seamed along the sides, you pick up and knit stitches along the top edge and knit upwards, in this case using a solid color, but with the option to work stripes from the yarn scraps left over from the base part if you want a larger project bag.
